My name is Hilary. I launched wellnesssonline.com to share my journey in reversing type 2 diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and borderline eGFR. It was a challenging time, but it ignited a spark in me to understand my health better and take control.
My story
I am a family man. I live with my lovely wife Esther and our three children in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland.
Confronted with the daunting diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and a borderline eGFR result, I resolved to reclaim control of my life and prioritize my well-being. I became a voracious learner, seeking out every piece of knowledge that could empower me in the battle for survival. As I applied what I learned, paired with diligent medical treatment, I began to see a change. Gradually, I reversed type 2 diabetes, normalized cholesterol, and improved EGFR, resulting in significant weight loss and medication cessation.
I am a radiographer with an MSc in Health Informatics, equipped with expertise in both medical imaging and health information technology.
This personal experience and my professional background have given me unique insights into the interplay of technology and wellness. Through health apps, wearables, and device connectivity, I’ve witnessed firsthand how technology can be crucial in our health journeys.
